Pyxisnet is an Offshore Software Development Centre (ODC) originally formed as a Danish - Bangladeshi joint venture in 2005. The collaborative tool, Groupcare .NET, a flagship product of Groupcare A/S, was essentially designed and developed at Pyxisnet and since been maintained and its roadmap fully managed by our development staff in conjunction with Groupcare A/S product management team. The application has over 450,000 user base across Europe.

Pyxisnet has successfully used US management philosophy and Danish technical expertise to rapidly develop high-skilled local talents and within two years of its inception became the leading software company in Bangladesh to provide mission-critical software solutions to clients across Europe and North America.

Management

CEO and Managing Director: Ali Ishtiaq has been involved with the software industry in the United States for more than 25 years. He graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), MA, USA, in the early 80’s, with degrees both in Electrical Engineering and in Computer Science. While working for a US company he has served international clients, particularly managing large projects in Japan, Australia and Holland, building and setting up their network management systems. Ishtiaq returned to Dhaka to set up and operate an offshore development center (ODC) to provide software solutions for clients worldwide using internationally accepted development standards. For his achievements in the industry, Ishtiaq, in 2008 received the “Best NRB (Non Resident Bangladeshi) Entrepreneur” award from Dhaka Chamber of Commerce.
